Just the Beginning
For a couple months now, I’ve been looking a good blog about being a mom and woman trying to raise a Catholic family in the midst of our secular world. I was looking for someone who understands the struggles of NFP, the challenges of growing in the Lord, the difficulty in being a Christian mom and wife, and such. I just couldn’t find what I was looking for, so it occurred to me… I should just make my own. Maybe I can help and find other women with the same worries that I have. Maybe we can support each other and find condolence in the fact that we are running the same race together.
I intend to be very honest in blog, so be prepared!! Be honest with me. Feel free to comment to my posts and share your life as a Catholic mom.
I’ll go ahead and share a little bit about myself. I’m 24 years old. I’m married with two children, a boy whose a few days shy of 4 years old and a girl whose almost 6 months. I own and run a business with my husband. I work hard and play hard. I love to scrapbook, play Wii, watch sports, and hang out with my family. I went to the Franciscan University of Steubenville where I received a bachelor’s degree in theology, but that doesn’t me an expert in Catholicism. I’m still learning everyday just like you. I live in Austin, Texas, but I grew up in California.
I truly hope that my posts can edify you and help you in your journey to Christ.
